Just returned from Desire Pearl... Had a blast.... Saturday at 2:00 PM is when the Foam Party starts... Every one gets into the pool, They kindly announce all the rules and then the Foam flows for almost an hour.... as the foam begins to get higher and higher, It gets more and more difficult to see... MUST WEAR goggles or sun glasses... The foam is easy to push out of the way, but a lot of fun you meet a lot of people in foam just by bumping into them all in good fun though plenty of beach balls to throw around.. Even saw a gigantic blow up penis...being tossed around

Is the foam party only on Saturday's?

Yes, at DP it is on Saturdays. Not sure about RM.

Not really - one is just a pool party and one is the actual Foam Party

Damn......we always miss it because of our Saturday to Saturday travel schedule.....

The regular pool party was a lot of fun too. There was a giant inflatable swan and Mrs. and 3 other naked ladies climbed aboard and sailed around. Lots of beach balls and activity in the pool. No foam but fun in other ways.

The foam party was our MOST FAVORITE day there..we brought three cans of alcohol infused whipped cream and ran around allowing couples to take body shots off of each other, or others. The music fest DJ'S were spinning incredible beats, the foam was seriously about three feet high...(this is the only event where cups with lids and swim goggles or sunglasses are absolutely necessary), the playmakers get out about fifty beach balls they playfully hit at you, and people were dancing on the bar and deck. I'm in my early 40's and it took me back to being a kid again! My top was taken off by a friend, I lost my lover in the bubbles several times, and just laughed with abandonment and pure glee...others in the pool were also saying in amazement how free and fun it was! They handed out jello shots to loosen you up too...we just let go and played for an hour, and it was perfect...

Foam party is absolutely the greatest fun! We were there on 8/6/16 and saw the swan in action. There were actually 5 ladies on board and at one point one brave girl was standing up in it rising amidst the foam! Life changing Of course the beach balls flying and the squirt bottle shots make it all the better. Do plan on being there whenever you plan a trip. We do

Another thought: I considered the goggles idea for next trip as the foam can irritate slightly. I nixed that thought as I considered what people may think of the goggles in the pool - especially underwater You can actually find parts of the pool where the foam is not so high or non-existent. These are better for receiving shots and launching beach balls

I think if someone showed up in a dive mask with a snorkel and floating rubber ducky ring with Mardi gras beads on, I'd die from inhalation of the bubbles while cracking up...maybe it's because it was YSW month with the music fest takeover, but it was anything goes and WILD for the foam party...we joined a KIK group months before arrival, and made friends with people we were comfortable being more free around, one of our ladies was getting whipped cream licked off of her VERY inner thigh while being kissed by a playboy model, and forty year olds were dancing topless to DJ Red...there was a MUCH older man with a walker shaking it..the more people can let go, and just play, the more amped the atmosphere becomes, IMO. The foam party is a great excuse for frivolity! We may creatively book to include two Saturdays, next time!:)

We were at DP for the first week of June 2016 and the Foam Party should NOT be missed. For a 50 y.o. guy this was the college party I never had! It was an absolute blast! Shots of tequila with some new friends we'd made (didn't think of doing body shots with my wife though). My only 2 pieces of advice: have a blast AND try not to inhale the foam (I did and it can cause some pretty bad coughing fits)!

Foam party is great--so is that avatar BG1031! Love that shot.

BellaSol, you have the right idea! We had such a blast at the Foam Party last April that we booked our Oct trip to include TWO Saturdays JUST to get two Foam Parties! We hadn't had so much fun in a pool at a resort ever, with Jan doing some shots and dancing on the little bar pool ledge with 5 other ladies -- it was a memorable afternoon. Definitely a don't miss event!
