Hoping someone can help.....we have been to Pearl twice and both times we have enjoyed the shot the bartenders call "Monkey Cum"....at the end they add a drop of chocolate. Very tasty. Have looked online and there is nothing near close to what they make!!

Was hoping someone has the actual recipe or if you are going soon maybe ask one of the bartenders. Would love to be able to make this shot at home. Appreciate any help anyone can provide!!

Fill shot glass about 3/4 full with Bailey's Irish Cream. Perfection is not necessary with this drink. Fill rest of way with Butterscotch Schnapps.

Apologies if I am in error on this but I have had my fair share of 'monkey sperm' shots at Pearl and I believe they use the liquor '43' to make them.

Thank you! Which does the Liquor 43 replace the Bailey's or the Schnapps? Also, for some reason, I thought they used some sort of milk/cream and it was blended.....I could be mistaken so please correct me!

I agree with you. 43 and some kind of cream and then a bit of chocolate. However I do not know what the 'cream' is. We leave in about 12 hours for Temptations for four days but will be dropping in at Pearl for this Saturday's foam party. Then the next week at RM. If I remember I will ask the pool bartenders what the ingredients are and then try to give you an answer in a couple of weeks.

We made these at home last week. Recipe calls for Licor 43, Heavy Cream and Chocolate syrup. First, drizzle some Choc syrup down sides of shot/brandy glass- not too much, then add heavy cream, last- using teaspoon, pour the Licor 43 over the back of the teaspoon so that it floats on top of cream. Good stuff. Will be at DP Aug 18-23

I believe the first recipe with Butterscotch is more commonly known as a "Buttery Nipple".

Pour butterscotch schnapps into a chilled shot glass.
Carefully float the Irish cream on top.
There are many brands of butterscotch schnapps available. DeKuyper's Buttershots is one of the most popular for this recipe and they have a Buttery Nipple recipe on their website that skips the layers, opting for shaking the liqueurs together with ice then straining the mix into the shot glass.

The trick to creating layered shots is to pour the ingredients in the order given.

We just spent four days at Temptations followed by eight days at Desire RM. We dropped into Desire Pearl for the Saturday foam party and I was able to ask one of the pool bartenders how they made the Monkey Sperm shots. They blend milk (Carnation) with Malibu rum to make it frothy, add 43, and then use a drop of chocolate syrup.

I also asked a bartender at Temptations premiere pool-side bar but his recipe was completely different (and too extensive for me remember). We introduced a number of people to this shot at the Lobby bar at RM and it tasted a bit different but was still a big hit.

Just came back from Desire and had many Monkey Sperm drinks. The lobby bartender told me this is how he makes them:

Pours 43 in a tall shot glass about 3/4 to the top
Mixes a little Malibu Rum, Baileys, milk and ice in blender and then pours this carefully over the 43

He added a little chocolate drizzle on top of drink in the shape of a heart since it was my wife's and my departing drink from Desire.
