SDC Desire Pearl Takeover

We are newbies planning a trip to Desire Pearl this fall. We noticed on the master group calendar that during the week we are planning to be there "SDC Desire Pearl Takeover" overlaps 5 of our 6 days. Can anyone tell me if this would be a bad time for a newbie couple to go to Pearl? Thanks...

The SDC December takeover at Pearl was cancelled(and has now been removed from the calendar). They still are doing their regular December takeover at Desire RM

I'm confused about Halloween 2016. It was my understanding Luxury Lifestyle Vacations had a takeover. We booked thru them because of that instead of thru the forum. Now this does not appear to be the case. Coleman, can you tell me what's going on?

Yes that takeover is still on for Pearl under
Lifestyle Lounge.
Luxury Lifestyle Vacations is the travel agent for that group booking

Appreciate that, but when there is a "real" takeover and you want to go at that time, the only option is to book thru the groups TA
