This is our first time at DP and was wondering if there were certain sunscreens to use? I mean certain places you don't want blistered and I think regular sunscreen would taste very good!

We just use our normal sunscreen, Banana Boat, Coppertome etc, that we would use on any other trip. Doesn't sting anywhere and it just gets washed off before any tasting happens.

You want to us P20. It's European and you can buy it on amazon. It's expensive but you only apply it once a day before going out in the sun and let it dry into your skin. No taste after it soaks in. No joke this stuff is phenomenal. Only applied once a day and was naked at the pool and jacuzzi all week and never burnt.

We take nutregena spf30 spray cans in luggage. Also take regular bottles of cream type lotion for the privates. Also take stuff for face. Take more than u think u will need. Exactly opposite ratio as to packing clothes.

We take the highest SPF we can find - usually 60 SPF sunscreen creams - and have used the Walmart brand as well as other brands (Banana Boat, etc.) whatever is on sale at the time of purchase and have had great success with all of them - no smell or taste and no sunburns either. They all work great for us.

If you are going to use a spray on sunscreen, you might be wise to spray it on in your room - the wind at the beach can carry most of it away and you tend not to get as much on yourself, unless the wind is with you.

Our 2 cents. Yuu are spending big bucks and time for a sexy vacation - pop for a tanning salon and get a good tan before you go reducing the risk of a burn. Once there use NEutrigena 30 WET. The wet will give you a nice shinny oily look to show off if you've been hitting the gym and have some lines (not a tan line ) that will look sexier with an oily look rather than a white cream that's been rubbed it

I appreciate all of your help. I am going to a tanning salon. Not so much worried about myself, but my husband!
