The rates in the Fall are some of the lowest since it is considered off season.

While we're not doing it this year, we've been a fan of going in early-mid December because if you're back before Christmas, it's still the off season rates, the risk of tropical storms or hurricanes is less than the fall, and it's hopefully cold enough at home to justify a vacation in the sun! :D

Cheapest and best are probably two different questions. Cheapest would be during those times of year when it isn't 'best'. And vice versa.

We have been at Pearl during the months of March, April, July, and December. We have also been at Temptations during September. Those are the only times of year that we have experience with.

January and August used to be the slowest months but the resort runs special events now. August was practically sold out this year so we ended up going to Temptations and Desire RM instead in late July.

March was nice but the weather was a bit iffy. We were there for two weeks and one week was great and the other was cold and rainy.

The weather in April was very nice. July tends to be very hot which isn't necessarily a bad thing. September was hot, humid, and rainy.

We like to go in early December. As mentioned above it is after the hurricane season and before the mid-December shift to high season. We typically arrive on the Sunday of the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday in late November and stay until mid-December. The pool used to be very cold in December but now that they are heating one end of it that isn't a problem. The sun tends to be lower in the sky and it gets cool by 3:30- 4:00 but that just speeds up the post-water volleyball exodus to the Jacuzzi.

I am not sure if the resort is still doing the 'buy 3 days and get 1 free' deal but that is something to consider.

Bonjour,

Cheapest time? Not sure what to answer: it's always expensive!

Best time? It depends of you. In our experience, everytime is a good time. We've been to DRM in October, November, March, April and May. It's always magic for our couple. We're going to Pearl for the first time next November but we're sure that it's going to be the same. So, everytune is a good time!

Bon voyage.
