Hello All !

We are in our early 30's ( I'm 33 and wife 32 ). We are both from Brazil and are going to pearl in Abril. Yes, we are so exited that we got our trip paid and closed now.

We are thinking about Pearl because people told is more luxury. Is that true ? What about average age ? What would we find there ?

It's our first time and we are so exited about it.

Com certeza vocês vai estar na faixa etária mais jovem, em não mais do que 20% do grupo de convidados no total, mas isso não será um obstáculo para se sentir confortável e desfrutar ao máximo da sua estadia.
As primeiras vezes que fomos, minha esposa tinha 29 anos e eu 42; Nunca nos sentimos fora do lugar.
Talvez Pearl não é mais elegante, mas mais espaçoso, tanto nos quartos como em áreas externas. Ele também tem uma praia melhor do que RM. Desde a sua abertura, é o nosso favorito.
Aposto que vocês vai ter umas férias ideais. Deixem em casa seus trajes de banho, trazer cangas com a sua famosa bandeira do Brasil, roupas sensuais para as noites e se preparar para uma das melhores experiências de sua vida.

Hola que tal? No sé cómo decirlo pero no preocupan de la edad de los otros huéspedes. No va cambiar sus vacaciones. Nosotros somos 42 y hemos encontrado más joven y más anciano. Y parejas mixtas de jóvenes y ancianos. La bien mayoría han estados bonitas etc. Pearl para nosotros sí es mejor y hay beneficios que están incluido es las varias discusiones. Muchos dicen que RM tiene más energía, eso es un aspecto que no más puedes controlar si vayas con un grupo, y puedes ir con grupo a los dos lugares. Para nosotros que vamos en un mes ya hay 45 parejas en el Yahoo Group y 15 parejas en nuestra fin de semana. Y también la mayoría del Sept y Oct grupo están en los 35-45.

Posible otra manera es esperar y decidir tu hotel al último minuto cuando sabes quién ya van estar. Pero quien sabes si van a tener espacio! Entonces cómo te dije al principio. Uds deciden por tu propias razones y todo va estar bien. Subiendo por sitios de LS también va indicar quienes van estar. No importa si no estás en LS no estás promotiendo nada. Buena suerte. Follow up question, how old do you think you'll be for your last trip to Desire? I wonder what the average age for that will be.

When we started our Hedo/Desire venue traveling, we were early 40s.
We wished we would have discovered it sooner.
It quickly became a regular "have to" with at least 2-3 visits each year.

That was over 15 years ago and 30 trips to "Paradise".
We [still] wish we would have discovered it sooner.
It still is a regular "have to" although Disney with grandkids took precedence over one of our trips this past year.
Thankfully we were at Desire when a couple we bump into at the same time each year were celebrating his 70th birthday!
It has been said that "Age is Mind Over Matter" -- so if you don't mind . . . our age doesn't matter.
(I noticed that DRM Room 1008 is handicapped accessible!)

Yeah, I wish we had discovered it sooner as well. Who knows we might end up being visitors in our 70s as well one day.

Early fifties

Nós tamos indo a primeira vez agora em dzembro e a expectativa é muito boa.
Somos um casal ele 47 ,ela 28 e nossa experiencia aqui no Brasil mostra que essas viagens a resorts liberais sao uma caixinha de surpsas. As vezes a viagem promete e nao rola nada , as vezes parece que nao vai rolar nada e ë o maximo.
Acho que só pelo astral do lugar vocês ja vao curtir muito.
Se já sao do meio liberal/ swing é as veEs mais facil pra se enturmar , de qualquer forma , vao na fé como estamos indo, que vai ser tudo maravilhoso.

We're in our late 60's, we got a late start but we're going to be at Pearl next month for our third time.

Mid 50's here........we didn't do the Jamaica, Desire, Palm Springs stuff until our two kids were grown.......we've always been pretty hip for our age but it's hard to tell the kids you're going on a Caribbean vacation without them........We wish we could have started earlier but it's not cheap and most younger folks have kids, job pressures, etc. I think that's why you see a bit of an older crowd. We befriended a couple at the old "N Resort" in Jamaica that were in their 70's and they were an inspiration for us to never get old...........enjoy......age is a mind set not a number.

Late 50's (lol as in 59) and early 60's here. Will definitely still be going in our 70's.
