Post DP Syndrom

Postby Vjva » Mon Sep 26, 2016 6:45 pm

We decided to book DP based on how everyone is having a great time on this forum. How do you recover from the post DP syndrome once you return back to the reality?

Well, it is difficult - I will not lie. But the best cure is to hurry up and book the next trip. Get a countdown app - start planning the costumes and visit this forum often.

For us it is not so much a case of recovery from but more of desire to continue the vibe we feel while there once we get home. We love our life together and have a wonderful sex life. Things do tend to get more intense while there and we have found that we bring some of that back home with us.

I knew that we needed a buffer between Desire and the real world, and that totally turned out to be the case, no way we could've transitioned directly back to real life. We booked 3 nights at The Hideaway at the Royalton which is about 10 minutes north of DRM. It is a nice adults only all inclusive resort, vanilla. We had a great time there as well. Originally we had thought it would be a deal where we would spend alone time for the most part, which is our normal thing, but Desire had a carry over effect and we ended up socializing, meeting new people and continuing on with the party. It was just what we needed.

This was all last week. Within a day of getting home, rather than letting the depression kick in, we have already booked our next trip which is next month. So, I suppose we have redosed on Desire and are riding the wave of anticipation again. Turns out Desire is just our kind of drug. :D
