Anyone book through Expedia?

We have been emailing with Desire's Booking Agent for shuttle service and was told he does not have a reservation with us. This was last week. We booked on 08/21. Does anyone know or have you ever experienced this? I called Expedia two nights ago and was told they'd call back within 24 to 48 hours. Nothing yet. I haven't had a chance to call dp yet but did send them an email through their contact us.

Is this typical that dp won't have our names yet but will have our room reserved based on our confirmation number? Good thing our trip isn't for 217 days so we have time to get this sorted out.

Used Orbitz. / Expedia twice with discounts and no problems. And very responsive customer service.
I would get it sorted right away. Doesn't sound right if you contacted Orbitz.directly.

We have booked thru Orbitz twice and Expedia this year after they bought Orbitz. We have never had a problem with either that wasn't corrected.
We canceled one trip during the free cancellation period I had to make a couple of calls to get them to give me the credit on the airfare but I got it back.
We booked back in February of 2016 Desire had a sale a month before our trip we called up Expedia and they credited back $300 so we got the sale price.
If Expedia shows you are confirmed I would not be worried.

thank you that's good to know. I think we got a great deal on our room price for 9 nights versus what DP is offering.

We did get an email back from Expedia and they said we are confirmed, the hotel has our information. Then the next day we ordered our ground transportation through dp's site (my other half felt more comfortable doing it directly through dp rather than the link here to USA Transfers - trust me I did try to convince him we should use them).
