For anyone who was at Pearl in August...

• Did you find that there were a significant number of women attending in addition to the couples who were there?
• Did you feel the environment was changed at all by the presence of those women?
• Was your visit to Pearl affected either positively or negatively by the special rules for August?

For any of you who did enjoy the company of an additional woman in your room and for the women who joined couples...

• How was the experience for you?
• Would you do it again?

Been to Pearl 3 Augusts. Saw very few 3some couples. So few that it wasn't obvious at all. I would say that the theme change for August doesn't really affect the vibe one way or another.

Same story here and agree with the assessment but since the only DP visits we've had were August can't tell what the change would be... Certainly a lot of fun going on

Agree ! We've seen it twice at Pearl but we've never been in August. Money talks & rules can be bent.

We booked our trip several months ago to come with our girlfriend. Unfortunately, things recently ended.

Would anyone like to join us this month as our guest. Room is paid for and if you end up being from fla, airfare is as well.

We went to Pearl the last week in March 2016. The occupancy level was pretty low that week. One guy showed up with 2 women and he was the hit of the pool as people chatted and learned about their situation. He did say he asked and was granted special permission. Seems like they can bend the rules if it means on more paying customer during low occupancy.

We saw one threesome last week. And no notable differences in activities during "International Swingers Month". Over the years, we placed the lifestyle/non-lifestyle ratio at about 50/50. Last week, far less than half of the people we talked to were in the lifestyle.

The comments in this thread are spot on. We have been a few times in August and a couple times during swinger's month, and we have only seen one or two threesome couples. In fact, the vibe didn't seem that different than normal.

This thread makes us feel better. Because of Susan's work situation it is extremely difficult for us to get away in January and we have wondered what we have missed. It is promoted as having looser rules and being more swinger friendly but the comments on here are consistent in that there isn't much difference. As for August, we were at Pearl in August, 2015, and didn't really meet any couples with additional women staying in their room.

So we will stop allowing ourselves to experience FOMO.
