We are considering going this year over Thanksgiving. I searched for Thanksgiving and for occupancy on the forum but can't seem to find out if Thanksgiving is busy (saw 1 hint of that from a Cokeman post) or if it is slow.

I am not worried about full occupancy. But we really don't want dead either.

Any input would be appreciated.

going the day after Thanksgiving this year. Our anniversary is the 27th. I hope it's not completely dead either, but I guess I wouldn't mind if it was a little less busy! We are not lifestylers, just want a place to go and be uninhibited.

We wouldn't mind anything over 50%. But need to decide soon while I can still get great airfare. Thanks for the reply

We went 2 years ago to Pearl for the week of Thanksgiving and the place had alot of people there. Definitely not slow or boring at all.. We are going again this year over Thanksgiving. Plus the weather is perfect. Make your reservation and have a great vacation.

Thanks chillin. I had just booked (like 5 minutes ago) but will now breathe a little easier.

We were there last September and it was slower, maybe 50-60% occupancy at the peak down to less than 40% on one of the days. We went back for Thanksgiving and it was a huge difference. We left the day before Thanksgiving but the resort was sold out - we actually tried to extend our stay on the front and back ends but couldn't get a room. From what others told us that was typical so I think you'll be all set.
