Carry on items

Ever take a toy in your carry on? We arrive in October for 5 nights, and we'd like to make sure we have a few essentials in our carry on in case of lost luggage. A toy counts as an essential.

Does TSA make a big deal about such things?

Hi,

Speaking from Pearl now: TSA didn't have a problem with our toys yesterday on our way down. Do remember to take the batteries out of the toy so it does not start vibrating it your luggage.

We always take "Toys" in our carry ons. Not only to Pearl, but every other vacation we take. We never check bags, especially on our nude vacations and Toys are manditory. Never is a problem as long as you don't mind the smiles of the TSA agents if they have to inspect your bag.
