Are there any nude snorkeling day cruises there or nearby?

There are but be careful. You're not supposed to wear sunscreen when snorkeling the reef. We obeyed the rule and got severely sunburned.

There is bio degradable sunscreen that is available and allowed - a bit more expensive than normal sunscreen types but better than getting a sunburn !!

Also do some research on sea lice. They are small jelly fish that come in the thousands. My wife was stung by one at the beach at desire. It's swells up and is very uncomfortable for several days.

We did the naked cruise/snorkel trip. The boat ride was nice... but the snorkel was no good.... it was too wavy.

We did that cruise, too. The snorkeling was great, but I'm sure it completely depends upon the day. It's about $200 to do the trip, but I recommend it. It's a great ice breaker. There's not a ton of food or drink, but enough. The atmosphere is what you're paying for, and it delivers on that.

you can buy REEF-SAFE sunscreen. we used it last time there and in hawaii. google it. don't get sunburned so get the good stuff to save the Reef, which appears almost dead anyway.

You can get info at the dive shop. Also Caesar (super nice guy who works at dive shop) is usually visiting guests during the day at the pool and beach telling all about it. ;)

What about REEFER-SAFE sunscreen? What would that even be? I guess maybe sunscreen that puts itself on for you in case you are too high to remember that you didn't put sunscreen on yet?
