We ended up booking through Expedia because booking direct was requiring a 6 night minimum. As part of booking through Expedia we were offered a "Free Mini Bar"? What exactly does this mean? How does the mini bar normally work?

Because of life its been several years since we have been able to visit Desire, but on our trips each room had a mini bar that had several bottles of water. beer and soft drinks. No wine or booze. So I'm not sure what Expedia calls a min bar but its not loaded like a hotel mini bar with wine and booze.

FYI - If you book direct thru the Desire official site the minimum is only two nights !!

As mentioned previously all rooms come standard with a mini bar fridge filled with a couple of each - cans of beer, cans of soft drinks
& bottled water
