Our next trip to DP will be in early July. Should we be worried about mosquitoes that time of year? Our previous trips have been in December and we didn't experience any mosquito problem that time of year.

Been a couple of times in July and they are active especially after sunset. The resort does spray some. My wife is a mosquito magnet but with good repellent not a major issue. It is definitely hot and humid compared to December! With an empty nest now moved our vacation times to April or November.

We spent sevens nights at Pearl last July and did not really notice mosquitos at all and my wife normally has problems with bug bites. So maybe we were lucky, but we did not have an issue with bugs at all. We plan on going again.

We typically visit in July and have not had any issues. I am a mosquito magnet, so I was pleasantly surprised and relieved that this was not an issue.

When we went in October it seemed like they were constantly spraying. Did not get a single bite.
