We've been to Pearl in both of these weeks. It is HOT OUTSIDE either way. Be prepared to sweat.
August is Sexy Young & Wild month, but the age does not seem to change much. You can, however, bring another girl with you. We don't notice much of a difference at all.
Labor Day weekend is hit or miss. We go to DP over Labor Day to take advantage of the holiday day off. The crowd can sometimes be light (if you have kids at home, you're frantic to get them ready for school, or they've just started school and it is hard to get away). So Labor Day can tend to be younger and older, but usually not the middle.
