Theme night attire - men and women

Postby Gobigorgohome » Thu Feb 22, 2018 1:43 am

I wasn’t able to find the exact answer to this, so I thought I’d create a new post. What do guys tend to wear at the theme nights? Do most wear costumes? What’s allowed vs not allowed....shirt, type of shoes, etc.

For women, how “covered up”. do you need to be? Just want to make sure we follow the general theme. Can’t wait for our visit next month!

We try to be creative and, at least at some level, match what we wear. We try to be fun and creative. I would say most women participate and some men participate in theme nights. On our first trip we did not participate much and regretted it. Now we try to really get into it. It's fun and we spend weeks before the trip ordering different items on Amazon, etc. From what we have seen (10th trip) anything is allowed. Full blown costumes to nude. One night, on the dance floor at DP, a group of ladies starting taking their cloths off and encouraged others to participate with them.

We are all about the costumes - and spend months planning what to wear - it is like foreplay, to be honest ;)

Personally I love when people participate in the themes - both ladies and the guys. We have been to Pearl 4 times now - and it varies how many participate in the themes. However everybody enjoys a good costume ;)

We have seen people in nothing but a little body jewelry and we have seen people in huge, elaborate costumes - it is all up to your own comfort level how little or how much you want to wear.

I thought I would refresh this post and ask folks who've recently been to DP to comment on what they've seen men/women wear to disco. Our 3rd trip coming up and I'm (the male) thinking of being more daring.

I (the male) was thinking of wearing boxer briefs and a just a suit vest without a shirt. Will that be good or will I stick out like a soar thumb?

I've worn pretty much exactly that before. You will be fine.

Just ordered the following items for our next trip. Now just have to work up enough nerves to wear them on our upcoming trip.

I’ve worn just a g-string several times with no issues — in fact lots of people told me they loved it. My wife especially. :)

I’ve also seen people go totally naked (for the “anything but clothes” themes) with no trouble either.

You’ll be just fine.

Speaking of theme nights...just saw that on May 5th for Cinco de mayo the theme has changed to Mexican Wrestlers....this should be interesting! I'm thinking the wife will just go with a pink thong and matching cape.
