The icon for the lingerie theme night says the men's attire should be suspenders with boxers, but when clicking on the icon the full description states the the men's attire should be suspenders with black pants.
Any ideas what it should be? Quite a difference between boxer and black pants.

Wear what you want - you don't have to be exact, but in somewhere in the theme of the the night.

You might want to coordinate with your significant other as well.

It doesn't even have to be that close. Some people go all in for the themes, some don't bother at all, and some are somewhere in between. You will not feel out of place regardless of which path you choose.

On our first trip, I went as far as wearing my black shorts (commando style). On our last trip on the last night, I wore my fishnet briefs under a long buttoned down shirt as suggested by my wife. On our upcoming trip, I'll also bring some see-thru briefs or thongs. That OK with the woman?

You can wear anything from nada to a tux if you want. The themes are just themes. The suggestions do not (and should not) be taken literally. It would be a shame if all the guys wore boxers and suspenders. Fortunately I can assure you that it will be sexier and more creative than that. Don't hold back - fun will be had.

True - many guys don't follow any theme whatsoever. I tend to get into it and dress as provocatively as possible, while trying to stay in the theme.

You'll see guys in standard apparel, while the women tend to dress in their sexiest clothes, and many times strip them off on the dance floor.

I am thinking about making it formal with a bowtie and cummerbund.
