Hi everyone,
Just looked at the most recent daily activities calendar on Pearl website. Wow, what a change in the routine, since the November. I am sure this is due to the change in the staff, since Charlie and Kia had left. Question to those who had been in Pearl since change in the daily activities – What do you think? Is it better, worse? How is the flow of the day now?
I will miss the water polo and basketball games for sure.
Thanks
A&D

According to the linked schedule, water polo is still on for Tuesday at 2:30. No water basketball though.

We just returned March 2. There was water basketball on the schedule, however nobody but me wanted to play. Water volleyball every day at 3:00.

The new entertainment coordinators (now called Playmakers) did a nice job. Vince was the only familiar face. Jade, Chris, Anwar, Ann, Robert were very engaging and will do a nice job.

Water Basketball was quite the spetacle when we were there last March. As a guy, there was WAY to much guy on guy contact. It was more like Water Rugby. They were more protective of the women that decided to play.

We too loved the previous staff, and this new staff is working so hard to be even better! They are so engaging and relaxed with the guests that they fit in as one of us, minus the lifestyle/nudity haha. Seriously, they are like instant "old friends." Robert, Chris, Vince are so so so charming, sexy and sweet all at the same time. Anuar is a bit newer and learning, however eager to succeed in his role. Shirley and Jade have REALLY stepped out to be very engaging and personable--it does not feel "fake" at all. Ana is an adorable young colt of a girl who is sweet and a bit shy--but so was Shirley when she started in January and look at her now. The manager even let Shirley take her top off for the foam party (which was only "meh" at first) Well THAT got the party going because a bunch of ladies jumped up on the stage with her and it supercharged the atmosphere like a club vibe. In the past, that was never allowed--glad it is now. It felt appropriate and not vulgar at all. The guys are the same way--they really integrate into the atmosphere and are flexible if there are not enough people to play Volleyball for instance. They will go around and make a later attempt, really exploring who might want to play. The lifeguard always is happy to round out a team and he's a great player. I hope that the new management continues to allow this vibe with the staff because they are not crossing the professional line with the guests. These are smart, talented young men and women who care about you and their jobs.

The games themselves were a bit more customized and not as cookie cutter as before in schedule. They seem to read the audience interest very efficiently. There is daily sand and pool VB. There was a water polo game but no basketball during our week-plus. We did play poker with the boys at our table, until the whole game quickly devolved into body shots of tequila--only at Pearl baby!
