trying to decide if we should go in late July.... I know it is hot obviously, but is it miserable? Thanks

no, been there many times in July and going again this year
in the full sun and If there is no breeze then it is a little rough but there is USUALLY a good breeze and shade if you want it

We also go in July. Last 4 years. It is hot, but tolerable. You'll spend the day in the pool for sure. Bring lots of sunscreen!

We've been there before in late July and will be there again this late July/early August. It will be hot, but there is the pool to cool off in. Bring sunscreen - asking others to apply is a great way to meet people... and a big bubba keg - have one water for every alcoholic drink you have.
