Since I would NEVER ask someone to break out a camera at Desire, I have to ask: Was the Hot Tub work a repair or an upgrade? And new features other than fewer tiles popping up? Assuming it’s the same color....

Anyone in DP now? Is the hot tub back fully operational now?

Last we heard there was still a little construction next to it going on... Still the case?

Here is the update.

The jacuzzi area is fully re-opened. The only change I can see is that, for the moment, there are more beds around the Jacuzzi. There used to be 3 on each side and there is currently 4 on each side. Other than that nothing has changed other than new tiles.

There is still construction going on in the area between the jacuzzi and the main pool, mostly on the pool side of the "wall" that separates the jacuzzi from the pool. It appears that they are renovating the entertainment area of the main pool where the DJs and entertainment staff used to setup during the day. As a result only the right side (from the pool area) entrance is open to walk to the jacuzzi. The side closest to Aphrodite is closed for the construction, no big deal there just walk around the other side.

From the status of the construction in the entertainment area it looks like it will still be a couple of weeks until its done, but it isn't causing any real disruption or loss of services to guests.

Unfortunately not

We were supposed to be here until Sunday but had to change our plans and will now be leaving on Friday morning

We were there just before the hot tub redo and the bathrooms were operational. Way better than before, unfortunately I didn't see more people taking advantage of it.

Walked by there about 15 minutes ago and the bathrooms were open.

LOL, I've been to Pearl a few times...and never knew about bathrooms by the hot tub.

Hot tub bathrooms are new, and welcome.
