Newbies booking for next year

Hi all,
We are newbies who are going to be celebrating our 20th Anniversary at Pearl in 2019. We have a few questions.
Since we can only stay for five days, is it better to go M-F or W-Sun? Is the resort pretty active? We are definitely interested in watching others and partaking in PDAs, beyond that we’ll see.

Our personal preference would be W-Sun. We like to get there mid week and each night things ramp up right through the weekend. Not an absolute, but this has been our experience. Look at the availability calendar. The weekends are frequently sold out, and as they say, the more the merrier!

Wednesday through Sunday. We usually do our trips that way. The resort is usually much less full on Monday and Tuesday. Plus you will be there Saturday for the foam party. It is always a great party.

Our personal preference is Thursday til Monday. We enjoy being there for both Saturday and Sunday. We arrive as early as mid morning on Thursday to coordinate a chair by the pool and leave right after breakfast on Monday morning.

We just booked our first trip for our 20th anniversary. We've never done anything like this before. It sure feels good to know we won't be the only ones.

This is our typical weekend getaway too. Highly recommend Thursday to Monday.

Check out the Massage post. You may not want to miss out on the Wednesday Massage for her.
We are going Tuesday to Tuesday for our first trip in 2019. Booked.
First day mellow, second day blast off.
The rest of the week should take care of itself.
Total Desire immersion.

I would say either Wed-Sun or Thursday to Monday. Either way you can't go wrong. If you choose M-F you will miss the foam party on Saturday and that is always a lot of fun.

When are you going? We are thinking about going at the end of June.

We are also planning our first ever trip for June 2019. Is there such a thing as too much time on a first trip? We were thinking 6 or 7 nights.

I don’t think so. Our first trip was April 2017 and we went for 6 nights. Loved it so much we would of stayed for 6 more if could have.

We’ve been back 3 times since and are going again in November this year.

6 or 7 is a good number for a first visit!

We agree with bigbill, on our first trip we had never experienced anything like this in our life. This was our absolute first exposure to anything clothing optional, topless, lifestyle related, absolutely anything of this nature. We went for eight nights and wished we had made it 10. We had the most amazing experiences and just can’t get enough. We absolutely love this place. And you can always do other things if you feel like you’re getting a little overwhelmed, you can do an excursion to Tulum, see the pyramids, go to the Cenotes, go snorkeling.......but I have a sneaky suspicion, that once you get to Desire you won’t want to leave. ;)

Thanks bigbill and Travelcouple89. Does anyone have an opinion on what the best 7 nights would be? Sunday-Sunday, Monday-Monday, etc...?
