Hello Desire friends, we are planning our next trip for this coming summer. Our first trip we got the Penthouse, which was GREAT ! A bit pricey though. This past trip we went with a master suite and really liked the room. Our question is has anyone went with a standard room or Junior suite after getting either a Master or Penthouse Suite? Obviously I know they are completely different rooms and the standard rooms and Junior suites are probably much smaller but if you have went with a cheaper room did you regret it after you arrived ? I don't mind spending the extra money if it makes that big of a difference but we have never been in a standard room or junior suite to make a fair comparison. Thanks for your help.

We have only been twice. The first time we had a suite. The second time we had a standard room because of availability and had no complaints. The wife's only complaint was only 1 bathroom. I wont be spending the extra money in the future. The standard room is good enough for us.

We had always gotten the standard room and then got a Master Suite (for some reason that I can't remember - probably availability. It wasn't that I wanted to upgrade). It was nice but much more than we needed. That extra sitting room was virtually unused. I think we used the extra bathroom once or twice but we won't miss it.

We've done the master suite a couple of times...once because another female was going and the extra bed and bathroom was convenient.
Just us, the standard room is fine...although 2 bathrooms is very handy!

Thank you for the replies. I think we will try a standard room this year. Doesn't sound like it is bad at all . I think the extra bathroom is what had us on the master suite.

We've tried every room type and now we only get the big master suites or the penthouse (as an upgrade). We really enjoy the extra space and 2nd bathroom, and most of the time the master suite does not seem like it is much more expensive.
