Been to DRM multiple time. Visited DP on a day pass years ago. From that visit I recall a water area and tons of vegetation around the lobby bar. My wife is a mosquito magnet. They will come from miles away to feast on her (I don't blame them ). I also think that DP did something to mitigate the mosquito problems. I'm looking for up to date personal experiences with the mosquitoes especially in the lat Feb time frame.

We were there last February and didn't have any problem with Mosquitos.

We were there over the Valentine's Day holiday for over a week, and I may have gotten one or two bites. Mosquitoes love me and I felt very fortunate to get out of there with just a couple bumps.

I didn't use bug spray, since I didn't see any or feel the need.

We've been to Desire Pearl in the middle of February for a number of years for our 10 day stays and Mosquitoes have never been an issue with us.
