Two weeks ago, we were told by membership staff the new Asian opens in May, even the GM stated so, the playmakers residence June/July and the Mansion Oct/Nov (soft opening). Will be interesting to see how close they come to meeting their dates.

We are probably headed to Pearl around the beginning of December so I called the resort and asked about the Mansion. I was told it would not be opening until after the first of the year.

Did they mention anything about the price?

Just a hunch but I'm guessing it's going to be one of those "if you have to ask" details, i.e. the price will be high (it's all relative of course).

No info about nightly pricing. We have had the pitch before where we saw the membership price.

Have there been any issues with construction workers with a view of the resort taking photographs, etc.? We don’t mind an extra audience, but would mind if that audience was taking home “memories” of their workday on their phones or posting them online.

Just got back - little to no attention from the construction workers. They were the most part oblivious or at least acted that way. Pretty impressive if ya ask me......

Actually, the wall facing the pool is going to be the most over engineered wall in history. The other 3 may get done someday.

To your question, when we were there end of April some guests caught (and took a picture of) a worker taking photos towards the jacuzzi. They showed the photo to management and evidently the issue was immediately resolved. I believe the worker was terminated on the spot.

We will be there in two weeks. Not worried about the construction but will try to remember to put an update on here for those coming after us.

Thanks very much -- good to know, we'll keep an eye out this July.

We were wondering if there was any one there this week who could give an update. Are they progressing to finish by end of May?

Can anyone who's been recently give an update on the construction projects? Mostly interested in Suki, but the crud going on behind the quiet end buildings would be good too... don't care about the "mansion."

Thank you.

Just got back home on monday from Pearl...

Suki's still at the temporary location. They did a good job considering it's just for the time being and food was excellent!

The construction where the new Suki will be is basically done from the outside, so there is no noise nor uncomfortable stares from there...

We stayed at the PH-18 which is at the first building across from the back end of Pearl restaurant. No noise there from the constructions. Didn't wonder around the quite pool so didn't see anything on that end...

Enjoy!
