I was told from reservations that the foam party is Friday?
Can anyone confirm that or is it saturdays?

The foam party is on Saturday at Pearl and on Friday at RM.

I like the foam party at Pearl better because the foam spreads out more and doesn't make a 5 foot wall like at the smaller RM pool. I think there's more going on around the outer edges that still let's you enjoy the foam. The loud music the party atmosphere, you'll just kinda smile from ear to ear and laugh your ass off the whole time.

We noticed this too, having experienced four or five foam parties at RM and then experiencing one at Pearl. Still fun at either resort, but at Pearl you don't have to worry as much about it suffocating you, especially for my petite wife. That said, watch your step around the pool. It's slippery in spots and made more so by the foam. I landed hard once and falling on your ass naked is never graceful.

I have another issue with the foam party at Pearl, why is it on a Saturday? I know some people go to Desire for less than a week, however most people go on vacation for a full week and travel on either Saturday or Sunday. Anyone traveling on Saturday will likely miss the foam party because at best they will be checking in while the party is going on. I would love it if they had multiple foam parts every week. It would accomodate guests regardless of what day they check in.

I have seen a lot of concerns or suggestions on the forum that management should be responding to. If you post a review on trip advisor management responds quickly whether it is a positive coment or not. Why don't they seem to pay atention to the forum that is dedicated to their resort?
