Super Bowl & V Day

We had a wonderful, two weekend stay at Pearl. The Super Bowl party was great with the Tomahawk dinner in front of the screen, even though we are not football fans. Pearl has put on an incredible party the last two years (we have been going the same weekends for several years) and is just fabulous in the new outdoor lounge. Valentine's Day is always a fun party. The food is the same as always, except for no cottage cheese at breakfast, which is my protein for breakfast, funny thing to mention. The playmaker guys were a bit of an improvement from October....if you know what I mean, more flirty with the girls instead of guys, can I say that?

Occupancy was 100% on Thursday-Sundays and quieter during the week, as always. Hot tub was busy and loud on the weekends, lots of fun. Nudity was about 80% with a few broadshorts. Guys! At least get sexy Euro shorts.

The bit of the hiccup that we noticed, with the new outdoor lounge is the "party" doesn't know where to go after the show. When the DJ keeps going outside, after, there is lots of dancing. When it is moved, after the show, to the disco, all the party is lost. Keep the DJ outside! Weather permitting, it is gorgeous out there. On the nights where the show was inside the disco, the dancing did keep going late and we ALWAYS are there for a good night of that.

So all in all, another wonderful trip!

Agree completely with you. We were there in November and what you described with the shows/disco/new area is exactly what we were discussing amongst our group. On a couple of occasions, the playmakers started a conga line designed specifically to lead people into the disco. It actually sorta worked. But I completely agree with you that they should just leave the party in the new area for as long as possible. The new area is great, but we do miss the disco...despite the DJ's incessantly shitty playlist!!
