To those who think lightning doesn't strike twice, here's your exception.
Our fifth visit was one of the best, but only for the usual reasons. The place is still beautiful and well looked after. The staff, everywhere, are fantastic. The food, with the help of a new chef, is back up to it's previous high standard (since November's visit) and the reworked hot tub has no more loose tiles.
Still the #1 reason for loving Desire is the people. We met and got re-aquainted with so many wonderful people, we would just like to say Hi and thank you to you all. Australia, hope your'e recovered. Guadalajara, thanks for a night of biblical proportions . Chicago, too nice for the people. It was great to see you again. Honeymooners, hope your livers have recovered and you have a long and happy life together. Montreal, good luck breaking out of that shy and conservative shell .
Latvia, again, please try to be a bit more outgoing, practice your volleyball, and thanks for cleaning up the "dirty girl" in the hot tub. St. Cloud, you are both great but only one can have a wet ear. Send an email ya dick. Scottsdale, sorry for taking all those mosquito bites away from you while we were on the hot tub bed. You seemed otherwise engaged. Left Coasters, S+S, thanks for the laughs and all the free beers.
An interesting event (aside from the 2 foam parties we attended) was the 2 days Dr. Jess gave her Sexology clinics (she's on playboy channel and stuff). Day one was dedicated to the female orgasm and all it's amazing elements. Mr. Danbo did learn a thing or two. Day two was dedicated to more female stuff, then Blow Jobs. Mrs. Danbo didn't learn anything she didn't already know .
So all in all, a great trip. To the " RM is more fun" crowd,(yes we have stayed there) look to yourselves to make the party. Don't wait for others to get things going and you won't be disappointed. Nobody goes to Desire to have a boring time.
Now for the negatives. The music in the disco continues to be a repetitive mix of DJ pleasing dreck. Yes, you can make requests but we don't want to do the DJ's job for him.
The pizzas, both during the day and at night by the lobby bar, are undercooked. Just because the cheese has melted, doesn't mean it's cooked. So come on folks, as future guests it's up to you to correct this horrible madness by demanding your right to eat fully cooked pizza anytime you want!!! Oh well, life is hard when that's all you can complain about.
Cheers, D + K
