Another Newbie Trip Report Jul 21-Jul 25, 2023

I had a long post written out to go through the details of most of my trip, but got logged out mid-post and lost everything. So, now I am trying to summarize what I had written :/

Wow. WOW. What a vacation.

Girlfriend pre-trip: "ehhhh, maybe I'll do topless but my bottoms are staying on."
Girlfriend yesterday, 2 weeks post-trip: "I was thinking about Pearl all day today, I just want to be nude 24/7. It's so freeing and carefree."

This is what 4 short nights at Pearl did for my girlfriend.

We arrived on a Friday in the afternoon and were pretty drunk by the time we walked into the lobby, between getting drinks in our USA Transfers ride and drinks on the plane. The front desk attendant had to have realized this because she asked us if we wanted to upgrade our room to the junior suite, which we ended up agreeing to. We were welcomed with a glass of wine at check-in and that amazing aroma that I’ve seen people talk about on these forums. What an incredible scent. We do the little orientation about ground rules and the map and theme nights and then are escorted to our room. We got settled in a little and decided to head down to the pool. The pool was pretty empty at this point, I think everyone was over at the jacuzzi or eating dinner. But we go over to the beachside near that small circle area of the pool and decide to set up shop at one of those chairs. I was already shirtless but my GF had full bikini on IIRC. I had enough alcohol in me that once I saw other nude people, I ripped the Band-Aid off and took my shorts/boxers off and got in the pool. We had a very nice couple swim over to us and strike up a conversation for what felt like hours until they invited us to the jacuzzi with them. We go over and meet up with that couple and they introduce us to another couple and we’re all talking for a while. I had to have blacked out at some point between the plane drinks, transfer drinks, check-in drinks, pool drinks and jacuzzi drinks, because all I remember is having friendly conversations with the sun out, to my GF and I being fully nude and having sex next to another couple in the jacuzzi. We REALLY ripped the Band-Aid off. If you’re keeping track at home, we just went from “I maybe will go topless but not bottomless”, to riding a dick in the jacuzzi in front of a crowd lmao). I think I started sobering up a little bit and realized that the jacuzzi kind of cleared out and we must have been having sex for at least an hour, or it certainly felt like it. So, I pull GF up out the jacuzzi and we get in a bed to finish off and go up to the room. We were so exhausted from travelling and drinking that we passed out by 9:30pm.

Saturday: We spent most of the day at the pool. We got lucky and got some chairs by the fun side of the pool, but quickly got unlucky as the sun got hotter and we realized we didn’t have an umbrella. So, we got in the pool to cool down. There was a lot going on. A lot of foam too from the foam party lol. People getting chocolate syrup licked off of them while laying on a raft. Whole bunch of things. I can’t remember all the details between alcohol and poor memory, but I do remember there being rubber duckies dumped in the pool with sexual activities written under them. We picked a few up to read them but weren’t comfortable enough to get involved in the activities unfortunately. However, the lady from the couple next to us picked up the “Kiss a Dick” one and sucked her husband’s dick right next to us for 30 seconds to fulfill that duck’s prophecy. Eventually we head back to the room, get showered and changed and head to dinner at Aphrodite, then head back to the room. Our biggest mistake was laying down in bed after dinner. We were so tired from being out in the sun all day, and drinking, and then just eating, that we could not move out of bed. So, we put some porn on the TV and fucked and went to bed around 10:30pm. Pretty lame for a couple under 30!!

Sunday: Went down to the quiet end of the pool in the morning since it was right outside of our room and we wanted to decompress a little after the first two overwhelming days. Unfortunately, we had to do the membership presentation at 10 or 11am I think. The guy was pretty nice at the beginning, we talked about sports and funny stories, but after saying he wouldn’t be mad at us if we said no to the membership, he sounded pretty damn upset when we told him no. I don’t know what he expected from us though. We told him we’re in our 20s and are early in our careers with a shit ton of student debt. Even if we wanted to buy a membership, we quite literally could not afford it. But anyway, we hang out at the pool for a little while. A nice couple strikes up a conversation with us for a little bit, but another couple nearby heard our couple mention that they swing (we do not), they came over and kinda took the conversation over from us. Time goes on and we head over to the jacuzzi for a little bit where we meet another older couple. I think about this couple still to this day. They were so damn nice and welcoming. I think they convinced us to go to the club later that night, so that’s what we did. But of course, we choose the wildest night to go for the first time. DUNGEON NIGHT. We, unfortunately, didn’t pack anything for theme nights. We didn’t even expect to really get nude that much, so theme nights, especially ones based around leather and assless chaps, were way out of our comfort zone. But we get to the lobby and there’s a good amount of people all dressed up in fun outfits and drinking, and live music was playing, and my favorite part, the playmaker and his little table. The playmaker had this little table that women would volunteer to go bend over and get ice cubes rubbed over their bodies sexually, and would get flogged and whipped lightly. It was amazing. I wish my GF would’ve done it, but there’s always next time. The couple from the jacuzzi notices us and comes and says hi. Then we head into the club once it opens and watch the amazing show. What an incredible show. Dancers were so hot and talented and the dancing and the music were so intense that you literally felt it inside you. We hangout with the couple inside the club and she’s dancing on the pole and tries getting my GF to do it and it was just so funny. Then she pulls us up on the dance floor and makes us dance, then kisses me and promises she’s not hitting on me because I’m her son’s age. They invite us to the jacuzzi later and GF and I head over, but couple stops for a drink so we get there before them. Jacuzzi was pretty packed from what I remember, but I don’t think the couple ended up showing up :/ I was really looking forward to hanging out with them. Not even in a swinging sense, because like I said, we don’t do that, but they were just so nice and welcoming and fun. But we end up staying in the jacuzzi for a while and just hanging out. We chatted it up with another couple and another guy until damn near 3-4am until we realized we should go to bed. So we head up to bed.
-Dinner: Suki

Monday: Since this was our last day, we didn’t want to go too crazy with drinking. Nothing worse than a hungover flight. So, we decided to hang out at the quiet end of the pool again, but stayed there pretty much all day long. There were a couple hours we left to go use our resort credit that we got from the presentation. We weren’t too into the idea of the massages. $400+ is insane for a subpar massage and a partial handjob lol. GF needed to get her toes done because the jacuzzi cleaned her nail polish clear off on night one. Damn that chlorine is strong. So, we went to the spa and we both got pedicures with our credits. I think we ended up going back to the pool for the rest of the afternoon until dinner time where we got dressed up and went to Pearl as a last-night celebration. That food was f**king amazing. I was concerned going into this trip from previous posts saying the food wasn’t great, but I truly don’t think I had one bad meal here. Pearl was amazing. Suki was amazing. Aphrodite wasn’t amazing but by no means was it bad. After Pearl, we went and got out of our dress clothes and headed to the jacuzzi. We were there so early that it was literally just us there for at least the first hour. We accidentally got a little buzzed while in there and decided we would close out the trip how we started it – by having sex in the jacuzzi. We went up to one of the beds and pulled the curtains down and she quite literally rode off into the sunset, with nobody besides the bartender in the audience. We laid there for a while and the jacuzzi and beds started filling up. There was a couple in bed across from us absolutely going to town. And another couple directly next to their bed passionately going at it. Amazing way to end the night. Around 11pm we headed back up to the room to finish packing and get some sleep before our travels the next day.

Wow. WOW. What a vacation.

For a couple of first timers, not in the lifestyle, and still in our 20s, this was a roller coaster ride of a vacation. There were moments where it did feel overwhelming, despite being MY idea. But I got rid of that feeling by remembering that I don’t need to participate in everything. I can enjoy my vacation as a regular vacation.

Some things to note:
-The staff are INSANELY NICE. I’ve seen other posts saying how nice they are. I don’t think you fully understand just how nice until you interact with them in person.
-Similar to above, the people (other vacationers) are INSANELY NICE. Every single person we met was so nice and welcoming and friendly.
-Rip the band-aid off. Just do it. Like I said earlier, my GF was hesitant about even being topless. Now she’s daydreaming about going back so she can be fully nude 24/7. Hell, she was riding me in a jacuzzi in front of 30-40 people. Just rip the band-aid off. I grew up with vitiligo, as you can imagine, my childhood was HELL. Couldn’t wear shorts to school or I’d get bullied for my spots. Granted, they’re not as bad now in my adulthood, but that trauma sticks with you. Once my shorts were off on day 1, I did not feel uncomfortable one bit the rest of the week. No one is judgmental. You don’t feel like anyone is staring at you. No one cares. Everyone’s there to enjoy themselves. Rip the band-aid off.
-The age difference felt a little weird at first but it’s not too bad. It is generally people in their 50s and older there, which is my parents age, but I think the fact that my GF and I were there to enjoy ourselves and not for activities with others, it didn’t really come into play.
Absolutely cannot wait until our next trip there. And we will 100% not be going back in July because holy shit was it hot.

Good report. We were there at the same time. Candice threw the “Kiss A Dick” duck to us, so the Mrs. did it right next to the stairs to the pool. Fun times! Glad you enjoyed your trip!

What a great review!!! We were there the same time you guys were. I think I remember seeing you guys around. We stayed at the quiet end of the pool but utilized the hot tub area quit a bit The resort is so freaking amazing and if anyone is looking to reconnect or just loves a sexy and sensual atmosphere there is no better place. We too were nervous at first but once the clothes came off and nervousness went away it is an amazing feeling to be making love or just plain f*^king and know we were adding others enjoyment, was a major turn on! We will be headed back soon!

I think a lot of us were like that: "Oh I won't take my clothes off" prior to arrival and then "Man, I can't wait to come back and ditch my clothes" upon checkout.

It's great that you and your GF had such an enjoyable trip. It's nice to see younger couples appreciate the beauty of Desire. When we were in our 20s, we were busy raising kids. Once they grew up, we were able to enjoy ourselves more. That's why you see so many couples in their 50s and 60s and beyond at Desire.
