Travel: We spent 7 days and for the first time we arrived on a Wednesday and left on a Wednesday. We have to say the trip was a breeze and everything about travel both to the resort and leaving for back home was a breeze.
Room: We always get the master suite or junior suite. I would have to say after our 2nd time in the master, that is our new standard. We just think it’s nice to have the 2nd bathroom and shower so the Mrs. has plenty of room. The view from our room was perfect and right on the beach and on the upper floor. If you don’t like the long walk and then stairs, I would not get the room. But to be honest we are never in the room.
Food: For dinner we ate at Suki and Pearl several times and Aphfrodite the remainder. The food is always good and we have no complaints other than we eat way too much when we are at Pearl. For breakfast and lunch there are always plenty of options and they all taste great. Drinks are pretty much whatever you would like from the bar.
Weather / Beach: This was our first trip in December. The weather was off and on sun/ clouds and it never rained except when we arrived. Overall, the mix of sun and clouds kept it comfortable. For a few days it was mostly sunny it was perfect. It was very windy and got a little chilly in the evenings for the Mrs. since her dresses were our favorite kind for her to wear. But a light sweater worked, it just had to cover skin. The beach was free of sargassum and you could swim in the ocean on the days the sun warmed up the water. We couldn't use the beach the last time we were there due to the amount of sargassum. One thing I did not know was the bottom was very rocky compared to our first trip. We would recommend water shoes. If your a beach person and want to sit on the beach all week naked and relax then you will probably be disappointed. The beach isn’t the same as it was in 2016.
People: The people we meet is why we keep coming back. While we don't have a lot in common with many couples, we always have fun talking with everyone and end up meeting a few couples we share contact information and most likely will schedule our next trip back when they do. It's just how this has worked out for us over the years.
Lifestyle: We have read some recent reviews that a fair number of guests are wearing their bathing suits most of the time. For our trip we did not see that compared to previous trips. So for us, we like that was not the case. There is plenty of activity around the hot tub and around the pool that we would consider the fun vibe we are looking for. While we are not active swingers, we do enjoy playing in front of others and enjoy the sexually charged environment daily in the hot tub and the main lobby in the evenings. I am sure if we could stay up late and hit the hot tub at night, we would be equally pleased.
Spa: If you go, we are sure you will love it. We have done the couples erotic massage every time we have been to the resort and it is worth every penny.
Service: If you haven't been to Pearl before then you won't be disappointed with the people that work there. If you have, then you already know how much everyone appreciates the staff.
So, if you are on the fence with your spouse or partner on booking. Simply push the submit button. You won't regret it. Vacations/trips like this can be pricey but your worth it. Our new standard is to do this twice a year now if we can fit it in our busy schedules.
