Trip from airport: 20-25 minutes, with the last half on a winding, narrow road that goes by multiple resorts and homes. Not a big deal, just not what we expected
Check In: Very quick, but we did use the advance check in on the website. Room was ready but we got there after 3pm. They do have you meet with a concierge before taking you to the room. Takes about 15 minutes to hear about all the services available-none of which we used. Not a big deal but we just wanted to get nekkid.
Resort: Very nice and well kept. Does take a few days to get the lay of the land with many winding paths leading to different areas.
Rooms: Very nice. King bed. closet, drawers all adequate. Bathroom large, with seperate shower (for two) and bath. We would prefer a larger shower and no bath. 2 Porno channels if you are into that. There is a fridge with soda, two beers and two waters. We did go to the workout room and get more water for the room.
Pool: Large, clean and nice. Bar at one end where the entertainment staff hangs out. Plenty of chairs but prime locations are taken quickly. They are reserved for the penthouse rooms. Most of these were on the bar end, which was no big deal for us. We stayed on other end closer to our rooms. We did tip the pool guy at beginning a week and got the same chairs all week. There are lots of poolside beds & shade. There are no pool floaties.
Dress-Most are totally nude but there were quite a few, especially ladies, wearing bottoms and suits. Not a big deal, but they stick out more than the nude.
Hot tub: Very large, warm, & deep. The crowd moves over to the hot tub around 5pm. They could use some elevated tables or lower the level a little so some areas availble to set drinks on. There is a bar at one end. There are six beds, 3 on either side of hot tub. It is a large social party from 5-7pm until people go to dinner.
You can see just about anything at this time, but the real displays are later in the night. People are very considerate for the most part, and we saw very little issue with the close proximity of many nekkid people.
Food: Breakfast and lunch are buffet style with a grill. Both very good with lots of choices. Dinner was at either of two restuarants, both sit down and 5 course meals. They meals are very good, with small portions, but lots of them. We never left hungry. Found it interesting that men are "required" to wear collared shirts, slacks and shoes, but women can wear next to nothing, including thongs, underwear, tops with exposed breasts, etc. We do not have a problem with the female display, just found it interesting the difference in standards. We did see men wearing shorts, sandals, and even t shirts and jeans every night. We also feel it would be nice to have another option at night for those of us that did to want to get dressed up or dressed at all for dinner.
Drinks: No problem with running out. Lots of beer choices, but it depended on what bar you were at for certain choices. My wife says the wine is not that good, but she is a professional wine drinker, so I was not surprised. She did manage to drink it all week. It would be nice if they had a drink menu of some speciality drinks.
Gym: Quite small with limited equipment. If there were four people working out there was not enough room. Found it quite disappointing to have free weights, but only one of each weight. People did work out, just not us.
Library: Quite a few books to choose from. Do not take many and leave what you have. Works nicely.
Entertainment: There are nightly shows of which we attended two. We were not impressed, but have no suggestions. Theme nights were mildly attended. We thought the themes were quite strange and hard to EASILY participate in. We did neon night. Seems to us that Toga night, Christmas, or 4th of July/Independence day would be much easier. I know when we were looking for outfits, there were plenty of cool ones for these themes.
After show: Quite a few went back to the hot tub, and the shows on the beds were happening every night. Plenty of girl on girl, swapping and orgies on the beds. Very entertaining and fun to be part of.
Some nights this would go til 2-3am.Beach/Ocean: the Pearl beach has nice sand but small. Not much of a nude walk and quite possible to see others walking the beach. The ocean floor was quite rocky. We waded in one time to our knees. Always a nice breeze. We did walk both ways. To the south is a small village and you can walk about 45 minutes one way. To the North are many resorts and homes. We did walk to the other resort one day, about an hour each way, with some areas that take some effort to pass. We ate breakfast at the other resort, walked around checking things out, and then walked back. Overall we like Pearl better for many reason that I will not get into here.
Playroom- We checked it out one night before dinner. Very small!!! Every night we were in the disco (3), it was being used by the entertainment staff for staging. Maybe we did not stick around long enough (off to the hot tub).
Cameras: There were people taking pictures especially during the shows. If this is an issue for you, keep your eyes open.
Overall: I am sure we are leaving some things out. This was a great vacation, possibly best ever. We are already talking about when we could go back. No matter your comfort level it is worth a try. You might surprise yourself with what you are comfortable doing.
