Just returned from our quick 3 night trip to Pearl. Let me just say, this was our best trip yet. We have been to RM 4 times, but this was our first trip to Pearl. We will be going back....The flight, immigrations and customs, and transfer could not have gone any smoother. Left DFW at 9:20am and walked into the lobby of Pearl at 12:45. We used Trans Beach for our transfers once again. Check in went quickly, and no mention about membership.... Our room was ready (#45, ocean view at the quiet end of the pool). Room was fine. Air conditioning and hot water worked fine. View was so so, but hey , how much time is spent in the room... We then headed down to the pool. The pool is awesome. Great swim up bar with great bartenders. Our favorite was Pablo, he always remembered our drinks and our names...After a while we headed over to the Jaccuzzi. Loved it...Lots of space, easy to get a drink and the temperature was perfect...One thing we did notice was an upgrade on the liquor from our previous trips to RM. Grey Goose, Crown Royal and Crown Royal to name a few.....One day the Jaccuzzi was out of Flor de Cana Rum, and one quick call and a new bottle was brought over....

Dinner every night was at the Pearl Restaurant, due to the fact that the Aphrodite restaurant is being remodeled. My guess is mid October at best....Food and service was very good every night. Fish was alway good, and the lobster was cooked perfectly. Breakfast each morning was again at Pearl. Choice of a great buffet or breakfast to order... Rosa's omelets were fantastic and her Juevos Rancheros were the best ever...

We didn't do a lot of the after dinner activities, but we did make it to the Eyes Wide Shut "performance" Interesting. Started out pretty hot, then just fizzelled out...

We were very fortunate. 3 days and not a cloud in the sky. Pretty rare for late September...Needless to say, we will be going back to Pearl. Hopefully sooner than later....
