Day 5, 2014 - final report

Departure day today but not until 4:30. :o It was easy to tell it was Monday as quite a few familiar faces were departing and fully clothed, socks and all, new ones arriving with inquisitive looks on their faces. The service in the restaurants and bars was very courteous and prompt. Overall service is excellent. Shows at the the disco are definitely worth checking out and most enjoyable. Management should consider free Tylenol for those who brave the music in the disco, as we are in our late 40's. Accommodations were larger than necessary, nice room with plunge pool next to hot tub (rm#1). Beach and pool services were excellent. Upon arrival $25 to Victor and $5 daily to his assistants guaranteed us beach front chairs, front row pool chairs, and use of a beach bed. The hotel was said to be at 88% occupancy and there was never a problem with availability of chairs which we had worried about. I would not be surprised if the neighboring resorts were recommending to walk the beach in the direction of the Pearl as an excursion. (Quite a few straying eyes) Dining room accessibility was never a problem on the busiest night we waited no longer than 15 minutes. Mixed drinks were very good and in my opinion not watered down as mentioned in other reports. A low class couple were regularly smoking in the hot tub area directly in front of the no smoking sign!!!! Which visibly and verbally angered one particular guest and quite a few others. Shame, shame. Many thanks to the Jessica and Lena for their tireless efforts from 10 am til midnight to entertain and engage with all guests. For us personally it was a great four days as we even took advantage of the last afternoon hot tub time for one final sexy sexy woohoo. USA Transfers promptly at 4:30 shuttled us to LeBlanc for the second part of our vacation. My sexual adventure will be posted in the Private Playroom soon under "did that really happen?"

Ditto...and also have to include Vince. We walked into the first night after dinner as "newbies" and he made us feel so welcome and explained a few things and that experience had such a positive influence on our whole stay. Thanks Vince and to the the whole staff, especially including Jessica and Lena. They work 6 days a week, from morning to late evening, and do a great job!

Great personalities! I have no idea how they have the energy. Exhausting to watch. Keeps me on the chaise lounge with a drink most of the day

I think they an excellent ability to identify excellent potential activities staff employees. I suspect they have a large pool of applicants to draw from. They don't pay them much, but these are young people and there is upwards mobility internally: Paloma, the guest services director (Swedish) was originally an activities staff member.

But they do work their asses off and have a big impact on the customer experience. And they do a great job.

Actually Paloma is by nationality Polish, but has worked and lived a lot of her life in the UK and a bit in Sweden thus giving her a cute but quirky accent :D
