Once again, short version to start with.
We had a fantastic trip, the resort is exceptionally good and high quality, food was fantastic, staff brilliant, room's delightful, pool great, hot tub sexy, other guests fabulous. Basically a great trip, we will return and would recommend the place to anyone, it was first class and we loved it.
In other words, no change from last time and we will go back again!
Longer version
There are many things about Pearl we like but for our second trip we were even more impressed with the staff, their courtesy, enthusiasm, work rate and welcoming attitude was simply superb. We really engage with them where we can and they return that many fold; it really is like going "home". So this time we are going to mention a few more names because, a) we remember them and b) they deserve it.
Check in - Easy & efficient, nice iced towels and champagne as a welcome. Effortless.
Room
We got the room we wanted thanks to the excellence of the front desk staff who helped us, well done Melissa, we are so grateful, thank you.
Everything was clean and welcoming, a huge room on the ground floor and just close enough to slip out naked from our patio and pop to the hot tub!
Food - Very similar to last year and very good. We certainly prefer the Pearl restaurant for dinner, it feels more sophisticated and the service is beyond compare. Lots of comments about the wine quality, we didn't think it was bad like some posters; the Merlot in particular was very drinkable! We never felt the need, nor were we hassled into upgrading.
Drink
Lots of it, high quality and always served with a smile! The inclusive 'Top shelf' was very good, again no need to upgrade.
Staff
Servers, cleaners, bar staff - Excellent. Interested, keen, competent, eager to please and smiling. Couldn't fault them.
Serving staff shout outs: At Pearl, Edgar & Rocky brilliant, Gustavo, Jose Luis, Andres in Aphrodite all superb.
Bar staff shout outs: Israel, Mario, Ricardo & Pepe
Pool side: Ebe & Fabiola they are wonderful and we love them. Viktor, Jared and Javier, work hard, treat you like Kings & Queens and just make the holiday special. We spend a lot of time by the pool and they help to ensure that time is as trouble free as it can be, they rock!
Maria is the lady that tends the restrooms near Aphrodite and she is forever sweeping, cleaning and rolling towels. To many she goes unnoticed but she greets us everyday with a beaming smile and friendly words. She typifies what is great about Pearl and in our opinion is one of the best staff members in the whole resort, she is always smiling, always welcoming, always working and is a credit to Desire Pearl.
Entertainment staff - Excellent, in particular Marco, Charlie and Vince. Although the girls are good too they need to engage more with the guests, not just the ones playing sports.
Management & butlers - helpful, keen but not too intrusive, just what we needed. Special praise for Carlos, he really is the best and Jerry for the help he gave us even though he wasn't our butler.
Poolside Entertainment
Whilst largely the same as our first visit, guess what, if it aint broke, don't fix it.
Pool volleyball, Basketball, Aerobics, beach volleyball and other games all good.
Music OK by the pool but repetitive after 14 days, DJ's need to work harder and adjust the volume according to the people and the vibe on the day. With lower occupancy or perhaps on big changeover days, just take it down a notch or two, I know we sat at the party end of the pool (because that's what we like!) but there were times you couldn't talk to the person next to you over the music and that is not right for Desire. Well not at 1130 am, crank it up at 2pm!
Foam party, brilliant, just make sure you go!
Plus kinky darts, pole dancing lessons, salsa dancing, yoga, beer pong, casino in the pool....lots of things to do, or watch, or just ignore, your choice, there’s no pressure to participate.
Evening Entertainment
Similar to before and very enjoyable albeit brief, we like the live bands in the lobby a lot, well done to Desire for extending the lobby area for this, we very much approve!
Themes - If you are unsure as to whether to participate my advice is to go for it. Those that dress up seem to enjoy it even more than those that don't and the more that do, the sexier the vibe feels.
Dress codes
Whatever your preconceptions about what is appropriate to wear, the answer is anything, there is nothing too risqué regardless of your physique and we saw everything from nude with a waist chain, see through, backless, frontless, topless & bottomless to nipple pasties and an electrical tape mini skirt (that was my wife!)!
Even in the restaurants, see through, string, skimpy, sexy, slutty and as outrageous as you dare feels very acceptable and you will not shock anyone! Wear whatever makes you or your SO feel good because if you both feel good, then you look good and then you will be looking sexy to everyone, guaranteed. Disco - Similar feelings to last time really. OK we are not keen dancers but we do try but the music is just the same every night. Lacking imagination and DJ flair but OK for 30 minutes after the show and then we are off to the hot tub!
The music video screens didn't seem to be working all the time, not sure why but its better when they do.
Spa & Gym
Gym has been refitted recently with Life Fitness gear and is much improved. We went most mornings and it was great.
Spa
We each had 2 massages but avoided the Erotic having had that once before. Thiere and Oscar were excellent.
Pool
I know that it is a clothing optional resort but I just don't get why you would want to go there and not get naked or at least topless. Most people are naked but it takes a couple of days for some to gather the courage, then when they have done it they wonder what all the fuss was about. My advice, just get naked immediately you get to the pool and if you don't like it then put your clothes back on immediately or the next day.
Hot tub
A voyeur's paradise, an exhibitionist's paradise, a very sexy place to hang out and talk, touch and be touched. Body shots? Just go for it.
Recommendations......thank you so much for the couple that introduced us to Platinum....smell free, taste free, silicone based lubricant that adds endless fun to the hot tub experience as it is waterproof. When used in combination with chocolate sauce it promises a veritable cornucopia of pleasurable experiences that will remain in our memories for a looong time!
You know who you are! 
Membership/Time share
We didn't bother this time with the pitch and got no hassle at all. I think some overplay this as a negative and it really isn't, we have friends who joined but it wasn't for us, we said so, no problem! The service we get has always been superb and membership makes no difference to that.
Friends -
We met people on this trip who arranged to visit at the same time to share a trip with us; great people and friends for life. We also met others who coincidentally had been there on our previous trip and we met people this time that we are sure to meet again. The people (and the staff!) really make Desire. There are people from every walk of life and yet however different you are you are all equal. There is something about the collective nakedness, the sexy vibe, the PDA/S, sexy evening wear & shows, voyeurism, exhibitionism, etc that makes people generally so friendly and nice whether 'lifestyle' or not. Throw in a good dose of sun and alcohol and everyone is your friend and in such a genuine way, you know who you are people we respect you, miss you and, like before, we will stay in touch. Thank you for making our second trip to Desire so special. Conclusion
I can't put it better than I did last time, Desire Pearl is a fantastic resort; it is sexy & sensual, erotically charged and fun. It is sophisticated, classy and refined. The property is of a very good standard, the staff is excellent, the food is magnificent and the whole place just works. If you read the website and like what you see then book a trip, you'll get exactly what it says on the tin!
We loved the people we met, we loved the place and the whole experience and without doubt we will return, we can't wait. Score…..11/10!
