Trip Report July 28 - Aug 2, 2015
Posted: Thu Aug 06, 2015 4:01 pmWe've been back for 5 days and are still buzzing with excitement from our trip to Pearl. As so many have said, I just can't say enough great things to tell you how great the staff at Pearl is. This was our third trip and Pearl just gets better and better. There are few places you can go that improve over time. Most resorts decline over time until they need a complete remodel or reopen. On the other hand Pearl has made improvements to the grounds and the food which was always good was even better this time. Especially the casual restaurant Aphrodite which was on par with the other two formal dining choices. Similarly, the entertainment staff which has always been great was better than ever. Eliazar, Vincent, Nesse, and Kia where more than handsome/pretty faces. Allthough they were new to us, they treated everyone like friends, entertained our brains out, danced with us and got us to participate in all the fun activities we could handle. If we don't see all 4 of them next time, we will genuinely miss them.
If you go to Pearl for the first time and look for a problem with your room or with the service, I'm sure you will find something to complain about. Someone may forget a lime in your drink or a harmless lizard might sneak in your room from the balcony or whatever. We had to switch rooms for a problem with the a/c. These things can happen at the best tropical resorts. But they will make it right. You will not find a resort that cares more about your experience and continues to improve like Pearl. Add to that the great people who stay there and we can't wait to return!
