Does anyone no if there is a steam room and a sauna at Pearl?

Great question ....It would be great fun to hang with another couple in the steam!

Does anyone know if there is a steam room and a sauna at Pearl? And yes, it would be very fun to steam with another couple

Yes, there are both steam and saunas at Pearl at the Spa; in both the women's and men's sides of the facility.

Having said that, the "rules" for who goes where are VERY relaxed, and we were in the steam room in both the men's and women's facilities when there in September. Nobody really seemed to care who was where.

There are also showers and plunge pools on both sides.

Now that we are excited to do the steam/sauna and plunge pools, we are wondering if there is an additional fee for use. Yes, going with another couple could be better than great! Is there a charge for use?

We always use the steam rooms (as a couple) at both the Desire properties. At Pearl, we have always been directed to use the men's facility. It also has a couple of jacuzzi tubs - one is cooler in temperature than the other. Nice way for us to end our day at the beach, just before our SNap.

We think this is one of the "well kept" secrets of Pearl---no, there were not any additional fees for use of the sauna/steam rooms on either side, according to our experience last fall. So, "don't tell anybody!" Oops, we just did.

We were in both places just ourselves, and found the privacy, as well as the experience quite "stimulating."

Having said that, of course it might be equally fun to share with another couple---both steam and sauna are fairly small, but could easily handle two couples.

We're back next month in March and will definitely make a spa visit or two---and if we meet any like couples, we may invite them too.

I love steam/sauna rooms....See if the wife wants to join me in there and just to use for steam/sauna purposes....lol....I see some of you have other plans so I just wanted to throw my disclaimer out there.....Pete

I'll be using the steam room as often as I can, very relaxing and can be fun. My wife will likely join on occasion, but not as frequent. We arrive this Saturday and are looking forward to 8 wonderful nights at Pearl

You're right - we've been twice to Pearl and never known that - will definitely be using it next time!

I'm sure we will be using these facilities at Pearl in June.
Sounds very relaxing.

We will be at Pearl in two weeks and definitely partaking of the spa facilities---we're happy to have it to ourselves; sharing would also be fun!
