Just got back

First the good things. Beautiful resort. Certainly the best value for the price of the three Desire resorts. Whale watching from the hot tub was beyond belief. I wish we had known. We left three pair of binoculars at home. No one else had any either. We should have bought a pair when we went shopping but we didn't know the whales would return every day like they did.
The beds by the hot tub are more plentifull than at Pearl and RM. The resort could not have been cleaner. They are constantly cleaning everything and the dry climate probably helps too. L.C . has a large staff for the number of guests that were present. Most other things have been discussed in other reports.
A couple of things could be improved. The tile around the pool are extremly slippery. We personally saw several guests slip. One was down for 20 minutes. She was attended to by an EMS worker from the States,a Docter from Canada and a Mexican Docter. She was taken out on a strecher. Rumor was the hospital would not release her until they paid $3000.00 US. They were hoping their insurance would reimbuse them. Another girl had a large bruise on her elbow. Be careful!!!!!!
The other thing we didn't like is we had to get fully dressed to eat lunch. Shorts, shirt, and shoes. If this type resort does scream, no shirt, no shoes, no problem then no place on earth should. They are going to have a week in July when you have to be naked around the pool, so it can't be a local law.
Speaking of naked, we don't understand why so many guests come there and never disrobe. Usually less than half were nude. At times we felt uncomfortabe that there were so many textiles. Were they just there to gauck?
In conclusion, we shall return, perhaps that nude week in July.
