Just signed up for the Monte Carlo cruise in 2019! This is our first Desire cruise but we are members and have been to the Pearl twice so far (we will go at least one more time this year, possibly twice).

The Greek Islands would be AMAZING! I'll keep an eye out for that one. We first heard about the Monte Carlo cruise from an email from Desire. Here is the website for the cruise: monte-carlo-cruise

We're so excited to be going on our first Desire cruise from Monaco in 2019! We have been on quite a few cruises, but never on one like this! We signed up when we were at Pearl last month, and we already know one amazing couple who will be on the ship!

The only problem is...it's still nearly a year-and-a-half away! Ugh!!

Any other Canadians going to be on board?

We are also booked for the cruise. Have been to pearl 6 times but have never been on a cruise like this. We are so looking forward to it but can’t take the long wait until September ‘19!!

Ben and Julie here. Signed up for Monte Carlo 2019 at our last visit to Pearl a few months ago. Never been on a cruise. Can't wait if it even comes close to our typical Pearl trips.

We just booked the Monte Carlo 2019 cruise. Then we read some reviews on here of a previous Desire cruise that seemed to indicate that the play level on board is low and the opportunity to be nude is scarce, due to being in port much of the time.
Has anyone heard or read otherwise? We're not excited about paying such a high premium for not as much fun.

We had wondered the same thing. We've talked to a few couples who have been and the reports are mixed. I mean all had a good time, but from the sound of it, it's just a different dynamic, would be a mistake to think of it as Desire on a grand scale is one thing we were told. That makes sense to me as I don't think the Desire experience would necessarily scale well, the relatively low number of couples is part of the magic in my opinion. One couple told us that the self pressure was higher due to the sheer number of people. They felt rushed to make connections because you might not actually see a couple a second time, or if you did maybe they've connected with someone else.

Considering the high cost we opted for Naughty in Nawlins instead which sounds like it will deliver on the lifestyle / sexual side and is MUCH cheaper, but we shall see in July. Still it won't be Desire either, but it should be very naughty

Then again, we went on the BLISS cruise last November. That Celebrity ship holds 4-5 times as many people as this one and we had a blast!!! With the help of cards with your picture and cabin # on them, dry erase boards on the doors, and plans to meet at the same bar for Happy Hour or after dinner each evening, people can manage to re-connect.

That's interesting as the most positive review we heard was from a couple that went on the Bliss cruise. Really I hadn't given much thought to the specific differences between different lines doing this sort of thing. It was more like, on our vanilla cruises looking around going "Imagine the possibilities if this ship was filled with swingers", then we looked into the price and compared that to how many Desire trips that would equate to and it never got any real traction.

We have signed up for the 2019 cruise. We did another lifestyle cruise with the same line so guess we know broadly what to expect. Looking forward to it very much..

We are Desire loyalist. Been to RM 9 times and Pearl once. This will be our first Desire cruise and first lifestyle cruise in general. We’d love to connect with others who are going. Excited.
