We have fingers crossed. I've mentioned this on other threads, but we were there 3 times last year. In June it looked like absolute death...and it was the first time we could smell it in the pool. In both November and December, it looked like a pristine beach with no more or less seaweed than you would see at any US east coast beach. We tend to stay in the same room, so I have pics from the exact same spot on all 3 trips that you'd think were doctored somehow.

Like I said...fingers crossed!
