Does anyone jnow if they are still doing body shots at Desire?
The last time we were there is July 2005.

Hi guys !

We too, will be there in 2 weeks (12 days actually, but whos counting )

When we were there last May, we definitely were participants in the body shot Olympics at the hottub, and although they are certainly not "organized", one quick call to the crowd will undoubtedly yield quite the "Hell yes!" response.

While on this topic anyway, here is another question......What is the preferred "shot of choice" for the hottub body shot ? The ladies were not big fans of the cream based alcohols when we were there last year, for obvious hygenic reasons. So what is a better alternative ? Thoughts ?

jello shots of course, Dan will be bringing the jello and the cups and the staff will make them up same as last year--they melt quickly in the hot tub so ya better be there on the week of the 9th of May, woo hoooo

Licquor 43

Hi guys,

Well, needless to say, we have to second Licor 43 for the Traditional Desire body shot . Being it is one of our favorite drinks at the resort.

Have to wait till Oct, 180 more days, before our next trip with our Week43 group though. I am sure it will be here before we know it.

Jello shots, Licor 43... It all sounds good, but what are they? Real alcohol in jello (it works???) And what does Licor 43 taste like? Never seen this here in Canada...

Yes it works well

Licor 43 from Spain, and you are right it is not generally available in Canada.

There is no real way to explain the taste, but if you are in the US or at Desire make sure you at least try it once

Seems we have missed Licor 43 the last 3 times we were at Desire. We will remedy that in Nov.

We just grabbed our bottle of 43, solely for the taste test (not applied to body parts, or used in a drink). Vanilla, fruity (orange?), with other flavors challenging to label. And sweet.
We have mixed it with diet Coke, with or w/o some coconut rum, but it may be at its best on body parts.

Clearly we have to try this in it's most perfect form. We are assesing just where the true flavors of 43 will COME across the best. We mean no pun by this (yes we do):)

we just got back from Desire last night. Liqor 43 is still a big body shot frontrunner. We also had syringes of grape, orange and lime jello that people were using to "innoculate" each other from the swine flu. The staff was nice enough to provide whipped cream for us on three seperate occassions.

This is the first trip out of 6 to Desire where I observed EVERYONE including the voyeurs on the dry side of the bar doing body shots. It was some sight seeing 30 people doing shots off of various parts of the anatomy very erotic indeed.

If you want the 43 make sure you bring your own as the resort only provides it in the restuarants. We sent a staff member to Cancun 3 seperate times for 43. I think he was glad to see us go.
