It's not an Alligator - your photos are of a Crocodile which is what is native to the Mangrove region around Desire

Thanks, Wayne. You're right, of course. It's a crocodile, not an alligator. We should have done some research before we posted!

Can anyone tell me - does the wood deck up in the jacuzzi area get really hot?

it gets kinda hot, but no one spends much time on the deck part. most people are either in the water or on the chairs. . also almost no one goes up there in the middle of the day. thats usually an evening and night time hangout.
