Snorkeling Lessons

I thought I'd read somewhere, but can no longer find it, that Pearl do snorkelling lessons in the main pool. Could anyone confirm?

I don't know that I have ever seen a resort offer snorkeling lessons in a pool. I have seen some dive lessons in the pool but not snorkeling. Snorkeling is extremely easy. Borrow some snorkeling equipment and ask a fellow guest at the resort to give you a quick lesson in the pool. It should take all of about 2 minutes for you to get the hang of it. It may take you a few minutes to get used to the concept of breathing through the tube but you can practice that in the pool and perhaps even have some fun with it if the pool is filled with naked people.

Agree that Snorkeling is very easy to get the hang of. Went several times while at RM last fall and had a blast. We purchased our own masks and snorkels for around $100 total for both of us and packed in our luggage before we went. You can get cheaper sets but you get what you pay for.
