I love laying by the pool or on the beach beds & reading & since I don't want to take up room in my suitcase with a bunch of paperback books, I just download a few to by I-pad - a lot lighter to carry! I would have no objection to the resort putting some kind of sticker over the camera lens of my I-pad so everyone around me would know I was not taking pictures.
I agree wholeheartedly with the electronic books but I kinda wonder about people reading on the beds in the jacuzzi area. Really? the play area of the resort, and only 6 beds and someone wants to read while people wait for a bed(my wife and I did for an hour). Plenty of lovely beds on the beach, around the quiet end of the pool, you really look odd reading between two beds of couples having fun. I use my Kindle on the beach all the time. My iPad is too hard to see in the bright sun so I never use it, plus the kindle battery is so much better.
