Jacuzzi Beds would a change be welcome

Back to the original post... Having just returned I'm happy to announce many people's number one pet peeve is still alive and well!! People still sleep, eat, smoke, and take up beds with their stuff. We were on a bed next to one with stuff, when a guy came up to the bed looked at me, I just like shrugged my shoulders next thing I know their stuff was flying through the air. He should of got a standing ovation, come to find out they were playing on a bed on the other side of the jacuzzi. Think they got the message as they snuck over to retrieve their stuff not saying a word.
Some people think they're the only ones at the resort!

I'd prefer not to presume the worst from "that" couple. I suspect they (at least most) have every intention of a quick splash, then return to the bed, then they get locked in unexpected conversation and just forgot. The worst they're guilty of is inconsideration from their drunken, sexual-bliss-infested mind. Seriously, if something good/unexpected starts up, the last thing most will be thinking of is their "stuff". Just like at the gym, I don't have a problem setting aside clothes, bag, towel with respect, sometimes even folding it as I lay it beside the machine/bed - no one deserves to have their stuff "tossed," unless the tosser is looking to stir things up. We all don't need any old-fashioned drama ... be cool, relax, and use the bed as you want/deserve.

Oh come one. I don't care how drunk, or "sexually-blissful" one is....if you leave a bed unoccupied, with all your stuff on it, and wind up on a bed on the OTHER side of the jacuzzi playing, you ARE an inconsiderate asshole.

Just got back from Pearl. (6/29 to 7/11 for 12 nights) Since all the beds were being used as cubbies most of the time, we Solved the problem by moving some unattended stuff to the side and spreading our towels out before going at it.
Folks got used to the fact that we are very active lovers with great stamina that require a sizeable amount of time and space, so several couples told us to use their beds whenever we wanted. Perhaps we should have explained to them how inconsiderate it was for them to hog beds they were not using, but we just found it easier and less confrontational to just utilize a bed when we wanted. Besides, when we're all hot and bothered and ready to F, the last thing we want to do is spoil the mood by wasting valuable foreplay time by scolding others about courtesy.
We just take what we need, when we need it, and don't worry about others.

P.S. We never put out our towels until we are ready to lay down, and we always remove our towels and belongings as soon as we are finished. Of course, sometimes that is forty-five minutes to an hour or more, but people are appreciative that we use the beds only for the purpose intended... and the cheering we received for our efforts meant that Jacuzzi couples appreciated our proper use of the facilities! Lol Trust me, none of the couples who hogged beds for reading, snapping or mindless chatting got any applause. They can have their naps. We'll take the accolades.

Here's what happened one night at the jacuzzi at Pearl.

We arrived at the jacuzzi after the disco and, as it was our last night we wanted to enjoy the beds one last time. lol and behold, wouldn't just know it that all the beds at the jacuzzi were 'reserved' one way or another. A couple of the beds had actual people on them, but most had items reserving them. Now, we are not the kind of people who are looking to 'confront' anyone but we did go ask those that were in the jacuzzi if any one of them were reserving one of the beds that just had at shirt on it. None of them were saving that particular bed and they all said to just go use it.

So, we put the shirt on the side table, set out some clean towels on the bed and proceeded to enjoy our last night making love in the open air.

Once we were done, we started to tidy up ourselves and the bed, placing the t shirt back on the bed where we had found it.
A couple arrived and asked if they could use the bed. We told them we were done and that it wasn't our shirt but that the shirt was there and we just moved it so we could use the bed. So, take your chances.

Well, wouldn't you know it, the people whose shirt it was arrived shortly after this new couple had just started to get set up on the bed.

Good golly Miss Molly! The couple whose shirt it was started yelling (in Spanish) at this new couple and grabbing their towels off the bed, and a bit of a tug of war with the towels ensued.

What an absolute mood killer. We felt sorry for the nice couple who only just wanted to use the bed. And we felt extremely fortunate that it wasn't us who had the bear the brunt of this obnoxious, rude behaviour.

Security was called as this guy was so mad and he just wouldn't listen to any one who was trying to calm him down. Putting a shirt on a bed does not mean you have saved it, according to the 'rules' .

The funny part of it was that his wife got on the bed, sitting up on it with her arms crossed with about three feet between her and her husband and kept her robe on the whole time. I don't think he was going to get any love from her that night

So sorry to hear that story. It appears there is no way to make everybody in this world act with respect and courtesy towards others.
Perhaps a solution would be having a staff table/stand off to the side of the bar where abandoned items can be placed so it is apparent that unattended belongings "will be removed". They do this currently with the pool and beach chairs and beds. If someone leaves their belonging where they don't belong, the staff removes stuff and places it at the beach stand for violators to collect. This way it is apparent to the offender that they must take up their complaint with staff, not other guests. If they impliment this, couples can merely tell a person that they don't know about their "stuff"; to check at the staff table.
We are so conscious of not hogging a bed, that if one of us has to suddenly make a restroom stop, the other remains on the bed.
Just like shit, rude happens, but I think efforts could be made to lessen this problem especially since this problem has gotten more and more prevalent with each of our visits.

We always did exactly this, but noticed not everyone followed this protocol.

No more "rules" please! Time limit? Timer on the bed post or oven timer on each table?? That's the last thing I want to think about if I'm in the middle of some passionate PDA! How much time do I have to finish? Why not add a couple more beds? I know there is room at the Pearl Jacuzzi for at least two more beds. And let's not forget to share. There is plenty of room on each bed for two couples. Just ask. We aren't against sharing our bed.

We second that emotion!
Do what you want for as long as you want on the bed. But, after you are done and you leave the jacuzzi area for more than a few minutes, take your things off the bed and let someone else enjoy themselves!
