Beach Beds

Hi All! This is our 3rd trip to Desire (1-Cancun / 1-Cabo). The time we went to Desire Cancun was before the big hurricane....so sadly, it's been a while. I am not familiar with the procedure of reserving the beach beds- can some one please explain it? I love all the helpful hints we get from the forums in the past, it has made our trips so much more enjoyable.

Hi Dee - just see the beach concierge down by the beds(right now it is Cid - but will probably change before you arrive) early in the morning to reserve a bed. Just ask, who is the beach concierge? at the new beach bar and they should be able to either point him/her out to you or get them paged by radio

As mentioned above, don't just put your stuff on a bed and go back to your room. Stop and get your name on the list with the beach concierge first. Otherwise, someone will put their name on the list for that bed number and you will find your stuff on the ground behind the wall or in the main lobby lost and found. He usually shows up at the beach bar around 7:00 a.m. and believe it or not, some couples are up before then! Maybe watching the sunrise while enjoying the first schtoink of the day or they just haven't been able to find their room from the night before!
