Seaweed, Pool Bar roof

We were at Pearl last September (2015) when the pool bar roof came down. Did they build a new roof yet? Also you couldn't get near the ocean because of the seaweed. Have they resolved that issue?
Any other new developments since last September? we are returning in October for 8 nights.

Roof is done and looks good, it's no longer thatched style and it feels a little bigger so it provides a bit more coverage from the sun. Seaweed pattern has changed and no longer an issue either, we can attest to that as of last March.

Both issues all good in April.

We just returned 2 days ago, and the Seaweed issue has greatly improved from last year!!! Very little on the beach at all.

Wow!! That's a drastic improvement from last August. Fingers crossed it stays that way this August
