Clothing question from newbie-

We are currently booked for a Thanksgiving stay. We booked in order to have a resort with no kids and more of a party atmosphere. Wife is conservative and not sure if she would go without a bathing suite. After reading numerious reports, sounds like 99% are nude or at least topless. I just don't want her to be uncomfortable or feel out of place with a bathing suit on. We can party with the best, but she has not read in detail what I have read and want to provide her the deal before we go. Can someone help, just don't want to get there and feel "OUT" of place because we have clothes on. I care less, but won't remove if she doesn't... and maybe enough drinks it will happen.. just want to plan for her to be happy.

You didn't say what is really important to both of you in a vacation?? Desire is a great place but if you/she feels nervous about the nudity thing how will you/she feel about the rest of what goes on at Desire ???'

If you are looking for more of a party resort you should consider Desires sister resort Temptation, which is located right in the Cancun Hotel zone, close to all the hot clubs. She can be topless there if she chooses to.

You best discuss before you get there. We've seen some pretty nasty fights while there thinking what you are thinking. I agree with Cokemann, another resort would probably be better for you.

She will not feel "overdressed" in a bikini during the day. We have been to Desire Cancun over Thanksgiving week and I have worn my bikini off and on all week, during the day, at the pool, to lunch, on the beach beds, etc.

If you are talking about at the jacuzzi tub - that's fine too! It's all good at Desire no matter what her comfort level is.

However, if visuals of nudity or sexual situations are going to offend her, that could be another story.

in that case, she'll be just fine. as miranda stated, no one cares if you wear a potato sack or nothing at all.

...our two cents....my wife routinely wears her bikini and I find that absolutely sexy. We have a number of "bottoms only" bikinis and so it's totally her choice to wear or NOT wear them. Personally I find it sexy either way as it's nice to leave a little to the imagination at times. As Miranda says, it's all good, Desire is what you make of it and you go at your own speed.

Talk, talk, talk with your spouse and make sure you continue talking while there. We know many couples that adjusted their "rules" after day 1! Go and enjoy.
