Weather for next week

Hi everyone! We are so excited for our first trip to Pearl. The weather report is not looking good though. Looks like thunderstorms for the first four days! Just wondering if the weather is more like Florida, with quick pop up storms, or are we looking at a wash out?

Usually it's not a washout. One our most fun days at Desire was a rainy day. We wandered to the spa area, met two other bored couples and one thing led to another. Two hours later the sun was shining and we all had a smile on our faces. We've been there seven times with a few bad forecasts, generally turned out to be just passing showers. I have heard of washouts but not many, people generally gather in the lobby and make the best of it.

We just checked the weather too and started to get nervous. Hoping it's limited to passing showers.

If you look at the weather, there will always be showers showing up (at least every time we have gone), then when you get there, there may be few little showers in the morning or afternoon and that is it.

It was supposed to rain 2 out of our 4 days at pearl and not a drop the whole time. Remember the rain forecast is percentage that there will be raindrops falling somewhere in the cancun area dueing that day. Our weather was terrific and we jus got back today.

That sounds like the weather reports for Hawaii. There is no weather report for each island just for the whole island chain that spans over 300 miles. So every weather report says a chance of rain they don't say where. More than once in Honolulu they said that the day was to be rainy and we didn't have a drop, on other days it was suppose to be sunny and it rained all day. So we just roll with the weather reports.
