Just got back and the seaweed was - let's call it moderately heavy. I've seen it much worse and I've seen it a little better. Over the course of a day, they had it fairly well cleaned up - as opposed to making virtually no progress against the incoming hordes that I've seen before. Another example, the beach volleyball would roll into the water relatively unimpeded instead of being trapped in a mound of seaweed that you had to wade into/onto to get the ball.
The usual disclaimer - conditions change all the time.
Also, we had a bit of rain this time. A couple of brief, heavy showers during a couple of days, and a good downpour one night as we were making our way to the pre-disco show.
Didn't matter one bit in the grand scheme of things.
