IYO - Best room for the money?

Postby RubyNSir » Mon Apr 16, 2018 12:05 am

We've not yet stayed at Desire but will be booking soon. We've stayed at Hidden Beach several times and know what type of room for the money to book there. In your opinion, for the money, what is the best room to book? All replies are appreciated. :US

We just got back so this is fresh. To us a room is a place you clean up in, sleep and store your stuff. As long as it is dry, safe, warm and has a bed that fits four we are happy. We like Garden View and prefer building 24, upstairs. You get a great view of the ocean, off to the left. Nice to sit with a cup of coffee, early in the morning, and enjoy the start of the day. Pretty quiet at night and you are close to the gym.

On the downside you have to walk all the way across the resort to get to the pool. A strenuous trek that is a least two minutes long. You split the difference to go to the lobby bar, disco and add 30 seconds to the hot tub. These times assume you are sober.

That is our take.

We have the same attitude. The room is not important to us. We have stayed in #24 and you do get a nice view of the ocean.
