Off site tour bookings through Desire's tour concierge

I am starting to wonder if there really is a tour concierge at Desire.... three emails to try and set up a whale shark tour and absolutely no response. After all the comments about how helpful staff were at Desire I was sure this would be no problem. Now I am concerned that this is the standard level of service we can expect from Desire.

Anyone had similar experiences? I think I might just have to book it myself, probably should have done that in the first place. Disappointing!

There is a very cool tour operator that offers whale shark/giant ray tours out of the El Cid marina in Puerto morales. I will try and remember their name and PM you if i can come up with it ....

I have never taken a tour that has been arranged by Desire, but can tell you that the level of service everywhere else is second to none. Don't worry about it....... You'll be impressed.

We have booked a few tours thru desire from a guy called Ricardo (I think that was his name) but he wasn't there last September. Everything worked out fine when we booked with him. However, if someone doesn't get back to you after even 1 email, I say f*** them and book with someone else.

USA Transportation has a whale shark tour. We have not used them for tours but have been really wonderful on trips to and from the airport. They have an online chat option that was really helpful in booking transportation.
